Naturally, the grapes profit from the southern exposure and reflective heat of their Mount Badacsony location. And the most well-known of these Badacsony wines is the Badacsony Szurkebarat, otherwise known as the Gray Monk of Badacsony. Carefully selected PInot Gris grapes lend a sweetness with a pleasant roundness and mellowness to this Marika varietal.
