Oranjeboom dates back to late 17th century Holland, where it was originally brewed at De Oranjeboom brewery in Rotterdam. The literal translation of the word is “orange tree,” a symbol long associated with the Dutch royal family. Today, Oranjeboom is brewed in Germany according to the original Dutch recipe from 1671. It’s a golden-blonde colored pilsner with a nose of light hops and bready malts—a full-bodied palate with an ideal pilsner balance of malt and hops and a clean, crisp, refreshing finish.
